Odds and ends
This time we’ve got two sites, of different persuasions, that we’re going to discuss.
The first is a nice, interesting blog, designed for internet marketers. It’s been around a while and has a variety of interesting posts. It is Money-Every-Month.com.
Another site is a small, well established PPC search engine. This one is Spiderjump.com. Established in 2001, it’s a thriving, little, PPC (pay per click) website, great for beginners, who just want to get their feet wet in PPC, without spending a fortune.
Spiderjump is an advertising site where you can get clicks for as low as $0.01 and get some decent visitors.
Lastly, today, we’ll talk about a new surf site. Don’t know what a surf site is? They are someitmes called Traffic Exchanges. This one is called PopcornTraffic.com.
Now we’ll answer your query… or at least, the question posed earlier. Don’t know what a surf site or traffic exchange is? They are a cool concept, sort of a cooperative (Co-op). Kind of a “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” soft of concept.
For each one or two site (of other members) that you visit, someone will visit your site.
It’s a fun approach…you get to see some sites you’ve never thought existed… and a bunch of people will visit yours.
The website offers advertising for sale, too. You can purchase (or earn, by visiting other sites) banner impressions (where, when people see your banner and click on it – they’re taken to your website; text ads (where people can earn credits for clicking on your text ad and again, visiting your site.
Take a few minutes to visit PopcornTraffic.com if you’re not familiar with ‘surf sites’ or traffic exchanges. You’ll become aware of a whole new realm of marketing and exposure.
